For parents serious about developing the full potential of their child’s mind and body Why Mini Karate? There is conclusive proof that stimulating the minds and bodies of pre-school children enables them to lay down the bases for neural and neuro-muscular development that simply can’t be equalled if it is addressed in later life. The more you stimulate your child’s physical and mental development at an early age the more potential for excellence they have in later life. The key is to provide an environment which is challenging yet fun, educational yet engaging. This is where the twice weekly training sessions of Mini Karate and the guidance for the follow-up at home will help to set your child apart. The sessions are geared specifically at ages two and three.
Parents and Children Enjoy the Class Together Parents will be instructed in the safest and most effective methods for constructive play and exercise during the sessions and at home. Parents need have no prior exercise experience.
There is a structured award scheme
which, if the parents wish, will lead children to feed into an
advanced place with the Oxford School of Martial Arts. Mini Karate is Oxford School of Martial Arts' parent and toddler programme. It is aimed at providing the fundamental skills and abilities, both physically and mentally, which form the foundation of martial arts: physical fitness and coordination; cooperation; respect for self and others; concentration and step-by-step achievement. We use games, movement play and activities appropriate to children of this age group to introduce martial arts skills.
